Does it mean that your hosting services are poor?
No,
cheap price does not mean poor services. Our prices is the
cheapest around because we believe that we can give the
same services that are given by overseas hosting provider
and it does not have to be expensive. With 24 hr human support
and since we are based in nearby Kuala Lumpur and our data
centre at Cyberjaya, this is good value for money.
Q: I have just
signed up online for your hosting plan. So, what next?
After we have received your order, we will send u an invoice within 10 minutes - 24 hours, We only create your hosting account and register your domain name after we receive your payment. The payment should be made within 5 days from the date you make an order. If your order with new domain registration, it will take about 12 - 24 hours (For .com/.net/.org) to become active.
Q: How do I register my own
domain name (.com,.net.,org,.info,.biz)?
First,
you need to verify that the domain name that you are looking
for is available by. If the domain name is listed as available,
then you may proceed to register the domain name by filling
up the online form. Once we have received your payment,
we will immediately proceed with your domain name registration.
Q: How do I register my own
domain name ( .com.my )?
The .my domain name registration process
is the same as above. However, in addition to that we will
need you to fax us a copy of your Form 9 company
registration as these are the requirements set forth by

Sorry, we are only able to create
your hosting account immediately (On Request) but for domain registration
we require your payment first.

No. All costs are stated plainly on our website. We do not hide fees in fineprint, or in our terms of service pages. The only costs that are commonly found to occur beyond your expected flat monthly rates per service, are those due to increased disk space or bandwidth usage. Pricing for such is plainly stated on our website. MesraHosting.net very often will allow you to upgrade your packages to the next size up, should you see an increase in disk space levels or bandwidth usage for the current month, and not want to pay for such additional usage. Disk space usage and availablility, as well as estimated bandwidth usage, is available to you in the majority of the control panel versions included with the hosting packages.

If you are not happy for any reason, cancel your MesraHosting.net service within 30 days of signup and your full setup fee and monthly costs will be refunded. Q: How much assistance do you provide for my website?
MesraHosting.net will assist you with all support for services provided directly thru MesraHosting.net. MesraHosting.net will help you with basic settings for your email software and ftp client, as well as assist you with using the web browser control panel. MesraHosting.net is not responsible for teaching you how to use another company's products. Example: MesraHosting.net will assist you with the settings for using MS Frontpage™, but we will not teach you how to actually use the product itself. You need to contact the software maker in such a situation, who provides tech support for how to use their product. Q: How is my website monitored?
MesraHosting.net maintains internal and external monitoring systems for every hosting server. The servers are checked every 1 minutes via network monitoring software. MesraHosting.net monitors uptime as well as individual features and services running on each server. MesraHosting.net staff is notified via alarms, email, screen popups, and paging, if a problem occurs.

How often do you backup our data and contents, daily/weekly
or monthly?
We backup your data and contents on daily/weekly and
monthly basis. To ensure your data is more secure with us,
your last saved data is saved at a separate location so
that it can be retrieved in case you lose you data. This
backup is not included in your web space allocation and
it is a free service provided by MesraHosting.net
Q: What if the hardware fails?
MesraHosting.net stocks replacement parts for all servers. MesraHosting.net is always building new servers for our shared hosting clients, as well as our dedicated server clients, so a full inventory of parts is maintained. Hardware failures are uncommon, but they do happen, and are a part of the hosting business. MesraHosting.net repairs all failed hardware promptly, to minimize any downtime caused by such.
Q: How many sites are currently running on per server?
MesraHosting.net does not have a set quantity of domains running on each machine. We find that ten domains can utilize more resources than 200 others. MesraHosting.net monitors each server's performance levels and attempts to maintain a low server load average and high cpu availability. As needed, MesraHosting.net will upgrade the hardware, to increase server performance. Individual domains that become to much for the server to handle, and utilize too much server resources, are moved to servers set up specifically for such resource intensive accounts.
Q: What kind of network or lines
are you all on?
We do not host our servers in regular
office buildings because this is not the way web servers
should be hosted in. Instead we're located in a data center
at Cyberjaya with Redundant lines directly coming from 3
different providers to ensure optimum uptime and maximum
performance!
Q: Where is the Data Center
located ?
It is located in a state-of-the-art
managed Datacenter facility in Cyberjaya with proper backups,
HVAC, redundancy, security and 24x7 monitoring.

Q: Ok, I'm convinced, how do I transfer my
domain name to MesraHosting.net without experiencing any downtime?
To avoid downtime, please follow these procedures:
1) Sign up for a Web hosting account using our online order
form. Once your account is setup, you will receive an e-mail
from us with your FTP login information.
Next, upload all of your files to our Web server.
2) After you're done uploading your files, contact your domain
name registrar and have your domain name pointed to our DNS
numbers indicated below:
Primary Server Hostname: ns1.mesradns.net
Primary Server Netaddress: 202.71.109.7
Secondary Server Hostname: ns2.mesradns.net
Secondary Server Netaddress: 202.71.109.8
3) Now, be patient. It will take about 48-72 hours for your
registrar to update their DNS (the amount of actual time varies
by registrar). Once it's updated, your domain name will point
to your new website that is hosted on MesraHosting.net servers
automatically.
4) If you use e-mail associated with the domain name, we recommend
you check mail at both locations (with your previous hosting
company and on our mail server). Once you confirm that all
e-mail settings and your website are properly pointed to MesraHosting.net,
go ahead and cancel your account with your previous hosting
company.
